Brahmaputra water level rises at alarming rate in Guwahati
Guwahati, July 6 (NKTV): With incessant rain across Assam in the past few days, water level of the mighty Brahmaputra has been rising at an alarming rate in Guwahati.
“The water level is rising at a warning level. It is increasing due to rain in upper Assam and Arunachal Pradesh. We are seeing a daily rise by 10 to 20 inches” officials of Central Water Commission informed.
Water level has also been increasing due to torrential rains at the hills of Arunachal Pradesh.
