Brown Sugar recovered at Chapar | Peddler arrested
Guwahati, July 18 (NKTV): A team of Assam Police recovered Brown Sugar worth over Rs 1.5 lakh at Chapar last night. The team recovered 70 containers of Brown Sugar along with 177 empty containers.
Officials have informed that a peddler has been arrested in relation to the recovery; however, identity of the peddler has not been disclosed. “We have started our investigation” officials said.
The operation last night was conducted jointly by the Assam Police and the CRPF.
