BTC Secretariat bans entry of general public in view of Covid situation

Guwahati, July 15 (NKTV): Entry of general public to the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) Secretariat has been prohibited for a week. This comes after 17 persons reportedly tested positive for Covid-19, that included staff members of the Secretariat.

A notification from the Principal Secretary stated that in the interest of public service and due to the rise of Covid-19 positive cases among the officers and employees of BTC Secretariat and BTCLA, public entry in Bodoland Territorial Council Secretariat and Bodoland Territorial Council Legislative Assembly (BTCLA) has been suspended with effect from July 16, 2021 to July 23, 2021 in order to contain and control the spread of Covid.

All employees (including contractual and fixed pay) who have taken at least one dose of Covid-19 vaccine shall attend office.
