Guwahati, August 17 (NKTV): A team of Cachar Police today seized 20 bags of suspected Burmese Supari and 24 grams of Heroin, packed in soap cases, from a bus at Lailapur along the Assam – Mizoram border.
The bus, bearing registration number MZ 05 A 0498, was intercepted at a checkpoint and upon checking, the Supari and Heroin were recovered.
Driver of the bus Lalroetuanga has been arrested by the police.
Further investigation underway.
