Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma mourned the death of Dr. Nazrul Islam, former minister of State government who died today at a city hospital.
In a statement here today, the Chief Minister said, “I mourn the death of Dr. Nazrul Islam who had for long extended valuable services to the social and political field in the state. As a minister, Dr. Islam served the state with dedication and made differences to the lives of all sections of the people of the state. His death is a great loss to the state’s social and political life”.
While expressing his empathy to the bereaved family members and extending his condolences, Dr. Sarma prayed to the Almighty for eternal peace of the departed soul.
