Cough syrup worth Rs 3 cr seized at Amingaon

Guwahati, September 8 (NKTV): The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) today intercepted two vehicles at the Madanpur Toll Gate, Amingaon and recovered over 60,000 bottles of cough syrup.

Officials have informed that the market value of the recovered cough syrup is around three crore rupees.

“The bottles of cough syrup were transported concealed in rice bags. We have seized two trucks” officials of NCB said.
