The Crime branch of Assam Police has apprehended two fake doctors with forged degrees certificates and other documents in Guwahati on 22nd April. The two fake doctors have been identified as Monaranjan Roy and Rishikesh Bhuyan.
According to the crime branch, both of them were working in a private hospital in Guwahati and possesed fake MBBS degree certificates under Srimanta Sankardev University and were practicing in the hospital with the help of the fake degrees.
The authorities of Srimanta Sankardev University had lodged a FIR in Bhanagarh Police Station against the two. The two were detained from from Pathor Kori on 21st April and were later arrested.
Reports say that the two were working in the private hospital from 2019 and claimed that they held MBBS degree in Homeopathy.
