Guwahati, June 09 (NKTV): In another success in the War on Drugs across Assam, a team of Kokrajhar Police has recovered drugs container bottles and apprehended five peddlers from two different places in Kokrajhar town on Tuesday evening.
Acting on specific inputs, the team had conducted a search operation under the leadership of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Kokrajhar Punam Pegu at Bhatarmari area.
The team apprehend five peddlers and recovered as many as 22 container bottles, three of which were empty.
The apprehended peddlers have been identified as Bimpal Brahma, Khwmta Brahma,Surjya Narzary, Tapu Mandal and Bubil Borgoyary.
“We have been stepping up our war on drugs and have been successful too. We will soon have a drug free state” official of Kokrajhar Police said.
