DTO of Darrang suspended after video in drunken state goes viral
Guwahati, July 1 (NKTV): District Transport Officer (DTO) of Darrang district has been placed under suspension after a video went viral, where the DTO can be seen intoxicated during duty hours and also using foul language.
Assam Transport Minister Chandra Mohan Patowary directed higher authorities of the Department to place the DTO under suspension. It may be mentioned here that DTO Kumar Sanjib Krishna was allegedly involved in numerous irregularities.
Reportedly, an enquiry has also been ordered into the matter.
