As cyclone Yaas comes closer to make landfall on the east coast of India, the Eastern Railway has cancelled 25 running through this route. A release by the Eastern Railway said, “25 Eastern coastal area bound trains will remain cancelled in view of Cyclone Yaas as a precautionary measure.”

The cyclone, which is predicted to hit the coastline as an extremely severe category storm, will have a sustained wind speed of 155 to 165 kmph during the landfall, informed Indian Meteorological Department on Sunday.
