FIFA World Cup: Brazil bids emotional farewell
2018 World cup runners-up Croatia knocked out five time champions Brazil from the FIFA World cup 2022. The thrilling quarter final match ended at 0-0 score line after 90 minutes. In the extra time Neymar Junior scored an astonishing goal for the Brazilians which helped them to take 1-0 lead. But soon Croatia made an amazing comeback with a goal leveling the score line which led the match to penalties.
Meanwhile in the penalties Croatia went on to defeat Brazil 4-2 booking there spot in the semi-finals of the world cup. The heartbroken Brazilian team and fans now needs wait for four more years for a shot at their dream, that is to take the cup home for the sixth time.
