Former Assam CM Sonowal in Modi’s Cabinet Committee on Political Affairs

Guwahati, July 13 (NKTV): Former Assam Chief Minister and Union Minister of Ports, Shipping and Waterways Sarbananda Sonowal is now in the Cabinet Committee on Political Affairs. The committee is headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Minister for Women and Child Development Smriti Z Irani and Environment and Labour Minister Bhupender Yadav are also members of the committee.

Union ministers Virendra Kumar, Kiren Rijiju and Anurag Singh Thakur have been included in the rejigged Cabinet Committee on Parliamentary Affairs headed by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, according to a notification issued by the Cabinet Secretariat last night.
