Guwahati, July 8 (NKTV): Senior Congress leader and former Himachal Pradesh chief minister Virbhadra Singh passed away at age 87. The political leader was admitted to a hospital in Shimla on Monday after he suffered a heart attack and was in critical condition.
The six-time chief minister tested positive for Covi-19 on June 11 for the second time in two months and had post-COVID-19 issues like pneumonia. He was the longest-serving and 4th Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, he served as the chief minister from 2012 to 2017 before being replaced by BJP’s Jai Ram Thakur in December 2017.
