Guwahati, July 9 (NKTV): The district administration of Kokrajhar has declared four micro containment zone under Kokrajhar and Dotma revenue circle with effect from Thursday evening for combating the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic situation in the district.
In Kokrajhar town itself, two micro containment zones have been declared after detecting six Covid-19 positive case including three each of Urban development department office and three family members of Sujit Kumar Narzary along the Ganga Nwgwr.
In Dotma revenue circle, the containment zones have been declared at Singimari and Khuksi are. Till Friday morning, the toll of COVID-19 positive active cases is 232 in the Kokrajhar district.
The district administration has banned any kinds of entry and exit of people along the declared micro containment zone. Vehicular movement has also been strictly prohibited in the micro containment areas.
