GI Tag for Manipur’s Sirarakhong Chilli and Tamenglong Orange
Guwahati, September 18 (NKTV): Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh has announced that the state’s famous Sirarakhong Chilli and Tamenglong Orange have now received the Geographical Indication (GI) tag.
The CM made the announcement while speaking at the inaugural function of the Van Dhan Vikas Kendra (VDVK) Mela organised by the Forest Department yesterday.
