Guwahati, July 21 (NKTV): Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma today morning took out a bicycle rally from Last Gate to Nehru Stadium in Guwahati as a gesture of support to Boxer Lovlina Borgohain for he performance at the Tokyo Olympics.
The CM also felicitated Lovlina’s father Tiken Borgohain and urged the people of the state to support and cheer for her.
Addressing media persons, Sarma said that in a bid to promote sports in the state, all constituencies of Assam shall now have a stadium.
