A goods train collided with Kanchanjunga Express at Rangapani station in North Bengal today. According to Railway officials, the container train overshot the signal and hit the rear portion of a passenger train. NDRF, Divisional team and 15 ambulances have reached the accident site.
Rescue operations going on at war footing, and Railways, NDRF and SDRF are working in close coordination. The injured passengers are being shifted to hospital.
