Guwahati, June 04 (NKTV): The Assam government on Friday announced important decisions amid intense controversy over the Covid treatment fees of private hospitals in the state. The state government has fixed the rates for Covid treatment in private hospitals today.
State Health minister Keshab Mahanta announced the medical fees for the private hospitals in a press conference today.
▶️ Super specialty hospital general ward: Rs 5,000
▶️ General hospital general ward: Rs 4,000
▶️ Super specialty hospital cabin: Rs 6,500
▶️ General hospital cabin: Rs 5,000
▶️ Super specialty hospital (ICU): Rs 10,000
▶️ General hospital (ICU): Rs 9,000
▶️ Super specialty hospital ventilator with ICU: Rs 15,000
▶️ General hospital ventilator with ICU: Rs 12,000
It may be recalled that since the beginning of the Covid pandemic, some patients have been complaining against the increased fees charged by private hospitals in the state.
