In Jammu and Kashmir, a brief exchange of fire took place between terrorists and security forces yesterday in Marah village of Buffliaz area of Poonch district. Akashvani Jammu Correspondent reports that late last night the security forces received specific input about the presence of some terrorists in the area.
A search operation was launched by the Police and Army in the general area of Marah village of Buffliaz near Dehra Ki Gali in Surankote Sub division of Poonch district. While the search party intensified the searches, the terrorists fired upon the security forces, leading to a brief gunfight. After a brief exchange of fire, the terrorists fled from the spot, taking advantage of the darkness. Meanwhile, a massive search operation has been launched to track down the fleeing terrorists.
