Guwahati | Hundreds of dead fish float at Dighalipukhuri
Guwahati, June 27 (NKTV): In a shocking and bizarre incident, hundreds of dead fish have been seen floating at Dighalipukhuri in Guwahati today morning.
While the reason is still to be ascertained, locals have suspected pollution to be the reason. A few have also suspected poisoning.
An official of the Tourism Department said that the reason behind is the excess Carbon Dioxide that accumulated in the water as there is no movement of water in the closed perimeter of Dighalipukhuri.
