Guwahati Student Bags ‘Verbal Mention’ in Model UN

Bringing accolades for Modern English School, Kahilipara, Assam’s Jyotishman Das of Class XII, has won ‘Verbal Mention’ in the Jindal Global University, Model United Nations (MUN), which was held on 6 and 7 May 2023 at Kolkata as the portfolio of Singapore in the COP-28.

Model United Nations, also known as Model UN or MUN, is an educational simulation in which students learn about diplomacy, international relations, and the United Nations.

Speaking on the achievement, Principal of Modern English School, Kahilipara, Mrs. Jonali Das, said, “We are happy that our student Jyotishman has made us proud at the Model United Nations (MUN). This will help him and his classmates learn more about international relations, foreign diplomacy and the UN”.
