Guwahati, August 16 (NKTV): Death toll from the massive 7.2-magnitude earthquake that struck Haiti on Saturday has increased to 1,297.
Prime Minister Ariel Henry on Sunday said “It is necessary to work together in the face of the extremely serious situation following the earthquake”.
Reportedly, around 5,700 people have been injured in the earthquake.
The 7.2-magnitude earthquake struck the southwestern part of Haiti on Saturday, with the epicentre about 150 km from the capital of Port-au-Prince.
