Guwahati, August 09 (NKTV): A prominent businessman from Hojai, who is wanted in cases of illegal rhino horn trade, has surrendered before the Forest Department of the Government of Assam in Golaghat.
It may be mentioned here that the businessman Md Rahimuddin had been named in two cases of illegal rhino horn trade and was absconding for a long time.
“As we closed the net around him, the suspect surrendered at Bokakhat on Sunday” officials of the Forest Department said.
