ICMR approves Covid-19 self testing kit ‘CoviSelf’
ICMR has approved India’s first Covid-19 test kit called CoviSelf for the purpose of home testing. Now you can self-test Covid at home by taking nasal swab. The kit costs Rs 250 and is expected to be available within weeks.
The test using CoviSelf can be conducted in two minutes with results within 15 minutes. Pune-based Mylab Discovery Solutions will launch India’s first self-use rapid antigen test (RAT) kit for Covid-19.
