IMD issues red alert as heavy rainfall to lash Assam

Guwahati, August 11 (NKTV): The Indian Meteorological Department has given red warning for heavy rainfall in isolated places very likely over Bihar, Sub Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam and Meghalaya. The heavy rainfall likely to start on Wednesday morning and get lashed off by Thursday morning.

The IMD has also given warning of extremely Heavy Rainfall at isolated places very likely over Assam and Meghalaya. IMD has also suggested people to avoid going to areas that face the water logging problems often.
