India emerges victorious in first ODI of three-match series against Sri Lanka
Guwahati, July 19 (NKTV): India has won the first One Day International of the three-match series against Sri Lanka by 7 wickets in Colombo last night.
Chasing a target of 263 runs set by Sri Lanka, India achieved the target in 36.4 overs with Shikhar Dhawan’s unbeaten 86 in 95 balls and Ishan Kishan’s 59 in 42 balls.
Prithvi Shaw who scored 43 in 24 balls was named Player of the Match.
With this win, India has taken a 1-0 lead in the three-match series.
The second ODI will be played tomorrow at 3:00 PM.
