India reports less than 50K Covid cases for the first time in 91 days
Guwahati, June 22 (NKTV): The Health and Family Welfare Ministry has informed that 42,640 cases have been registered in India in the last 24 hours.
For the first time in 91 days, less than 50,000 daily cases were registered.
A total of 1,167 deaths have also been reported in the country in the last 24 hours.
The active caseloads presently comprise 2.21 per cent of the cumulative positive cases and it is continuously declining. This is the 15th consecutive day when the country has reported a daily positivity rate below 5 per cent.
India’s daily recoveries continue to outnumber the daily new cases for the 40th consecutive day.
