Indian Archer Deepika Kumari bags triple Gold in Paris

Guwahati, June 28 (NKTV): In another proud moment for the nation, Indian Archer Deepika Kumari defeated Russia’s Elena Osipova 6-0 in the final of the women’s individual recurve event to complete a hat-trick of Gold Medals in one day at the ongoing World Cup Stage III in Paris yesterday.

It may be mentioned here that Deepika was also a part of the mixed recurve event and women’s recurve team winning gold yesterday.

In the mixed recurve team event, husband-wife duo Atanu Das and Deepika Kumari bagged Gold with 5-3 win over Netherlands.

India also won a gold medal in the recurve women’s team event.
