A case has been filed against socialite influencer Orhan Awatramani, better known as Orry, and eight others following a complaint from the hotel administration at Katra Marriott Resort and Spa. The complaint alleged that the group violated local rules by consuming alcohol inside the hotel, despite the area’s strict prohibition on alcohol in the vicinity of the Vaishno Devi Shrine. The incident came to light after a photo showing Orry and his friends partying in a private hotel room on March 15 went viral on social media, with a bottle of liquor visible in the room.

The police have registered FIR number 72/25, naming Orry and others including Darshan Singh, Parth Raina, Hrithik Singh, Rashi Dutta, Rakshita Bhogal, Shagun Kohli, and Anastasila Arjamaskina. The hotel had informed the guests in advance that alcohol and non-vegetarian food were not permitted in the cottage suites, in line with the rules of the area.

The gravity of the violation has prompted the local police to form a team led by Paramvir Singh, JKPS, to investigate the matter and apprehend the culprits. The team will be supervised by the Superintendent of Police Katra, along with the Deputy Superintendent of Police and the SHO Katra, to ensure strict enforcement of the law and prevent further incidents.

SSP Reasi emphasized that individuals who disrupt peace, especially through acts like alcohol and drug consumption in religious areas, will face severe consequences, sending a clear message that such violations will not be tolerated.
