In West Asia, at least ten people were killed in Israeli airstrikes on southern Lebanon, while at least five Palestinians, including a doctor and municipality employees, were killed in bombings across the Gaza Strip.
In response, Hezbollah announced that it targeted several Israeli sites, including gatherings of Israeli soldiers in the villages of Rab El Thalathine and Adaisseh in southern Lebanon.
The Israel Defence Forces stated that they have intensified attacks in the Jabalia area of northern Gaza, claiming to have killed numerous militants and located weapons.
Meanwhile, the World Health Organisation announced on social media that the polio vaccination campaign in northern Gaza has been postponed due to escalating violence, intense bombardment, mass displacement orders, and a lack of assured humanitarian pauses.
