Kokrajhar | 3 dacoits killed in encounter
Guwahati, August 22 (NKTV): Assam Police neutralised three dacoits in an encounter at Bhotgaon in Kokrajhar district last night. As informed by officials, the dacoits had planned to loot the Allahabad bank in the area.
The police recovered three pistols, two magazines and live ammunition along with other items. “There were a total of six dacoits. We could neutralise three while the other three managed to escape” informed the police.
The deceased dacoits have been identified as Sirajdullah Sheik of South Salmara, Aminul Sheikh and Monirul Sheikh of Goalpara.
