Lady drug trafficker from Mizoram held in Guwahati with 8,500 Yaba tablets
Guwahati, August 26 (NKTV): Based on an intelligence input from the SB, a team of East Guwahati District Police (EGDP) tracked a lady drug trafficker at Bhangagarh and apprehended her with a recovery of 8,500 Yaba tablets.
The lady drug trafficker has been identified as Khumi Khawung who hails from Aizawl in Mizoram. “She had come from Shillong and was camping at Kunjalata Lodge in Bhangagarh” officials informed.
“A search of her hotel room yielded approximately 8,500 Yaba tablets from her possession in the presence of independent witnesses” the police informed.
“Legal formalities are underway, as is further questioning of the accused” the police said.
