Lanka Doctor Attack | 24 arrested

Guwahati, June 02 (NKTV): In a major breakthrough, as many as 24 miscreants involved in the heinous Lanka Doctor Attack incident, wherein an on-duty doctor was assaulted, have been arrested.

“24 culprits involved in this barbaric attack have been arrested and the charge sheet will be filed at the earliest. I am personally monitoring this investigation and I promise that justice will be served.” Assam CM Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma informed in a post on Social Media.

Condemning the incident, the  Assam Medical Services Association (AMSA) had called for OPD boycott all over Assam in protest. “If next time, any such incident occurs happened to assault any health workers, we will immediately cease all services all over the state.” AMSA stated.
