Local Holiday declared on 5 Nov in Kamrup (M) for Diwali

A local holiday has been declared on November 5 within the jurisdiction of Kamrup Metropolitan District on account of Diwali. All Central & State Government Offices, Semi-Government Offices, Revenue Courts, Educational & financial Institutions within the District will remain closed on 5th November 2021.

All the guidelines, protocols relating to COVID-19 should be strictly followed during the celebration of the festival.
