Guwahati, August 12 (NKTV):Tokyo Olympics Bronze Medalist Lovlina Borgohain to arrive in Assam today at LGBI Airport around 9.15 am. Chief Minister of Assam Himanta Biswa Sarma will himself go to receive her at the airport with other government officials.
The Government of Assam will also felicitate Lovlina Borgohain at Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra where a ceremonial programme will be held around 3 pm. Boxer Lovlina Borgohain (69kg) signed off with a bronze medal in her debut Olympic Games after a comprehensive 0-5 loss to reigning world champion Busenaz Surmeneli who later won the gold medal.
