Lovlina settles for Bronze, becomes third Indian boxer to win Bronze at Olympics

Guwahati, August 04 (NKTV): Assam’s Lovlina Borgohain has become the third Indian boxer after Vijender Singh (2008) and Mary Kom (2012) to win a bronze medal at Olympics.

In her bout at the Tokyo Olympics today, Lovlina lost to Busenaz Srmeneli of Turkey 0-5 in the semi finals of Boxing in the Women’s Welter (64-69kg) category.

After today’s match, India have won one silver medal and two bronze medals at the Tokyo Olympics.
