TMC leader and Bengal’s ‘Didi’ was sworn in as the chief minister of West Bengal for third time on Wednesday, 5th May. Amid the Covid-19 crisis, a low-profile oath taking ceremony was held in Kolkata which was administered by the governor of Bengal, Jagdeep Dhankhar.
Mamata Banerjee took the oath in Bengali language and in the oath taking ceremony senior TMC leaders like Partha Chatterjee and Subrata Mukherjee, Prashant Kishor and Mamata’s MP nephew Abhishek Banerjee were also present.
After her oath taking ceremony was done, speaking to media, Mamata said that her first work as third CM will be to tackle the ongoing Covid-19 crisis in the state and look to work for development and prosperity.
