Man arrested for allegedly molesting a minor girl in Kokrajhar

The Kokrajhar police have arrested one Rahim Ali (36) for alleged molestation of a minor girl in Kokrajhar. The incident took place on Tuesday afternoon at Chakrashila area under Kokrajhar police station. According to local people, the accused molested a 8-year-old minor girl and tried to rape her. Local people have caught the accused person and later handed it over to the police.

The accused Ali is hailed from Alurbhui Borkola village. An FIR lodged with Kokrajhar PS. Local people have demanded a strict investigation into the incident and punished the accused person.
