Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City has clinched the Premier League title of 2020-21 for the third time in four years after Manchester United lost 1-2 against Leicester City at Old Trafford. With this win it is Pep Guardiola’s 10th major trophy after he joined Manchester City as head coach and manager in 2016. After becoming the PL champions, the coach said, “This has been a season and a Premier League title like no other. This was the hardest one.”
He further added, “We will always remember this season for the way we won. I am so proud to be the manager here and of this group of players.”
Manchester City has won 25 matches in this season and are table toppers of the first division English league with 80 points. Out of these 25 wins, the City team has registered 12 wins at Eithad stadium which is its homeground.
