Guwahati, June 23 (NKTV): A medical store was yesterday sealed by Palash Rajkumar Ahom, ADC (In-charge) of Margherita.
The administration took action based on a complaint received from a vigilant citizen Pranjal Pratim Bhuyan. The ADC and officials of the local Police Station busted the store house of Rumi Medical Store, wherein the proprietor Abib Hussain was attending a few patients in a makeshift nursing room with beds in the store-house of his pharmacy. Allegedly, he was treating locals and no Covid test was undergone by them.
The proprietor administered medicines and dribs on the patients without any authentic prescription from registered medical practitioners.
The Medical Store has been sealed and further actions are underway, the police informed.
