Guwahati, June 19 (NKTV): A joint operation of Assam Police and the Excise Department has led to the recovery of around 1,500 containers of molasses from a godown. As informed by the joint team, the seized molasses were supposed to be used in preparation of local liquor (Sulai).
“We conducted the operation after receiving reports of local liquor brewing in the region. We have started our interrogation” the police informed.
