Nearly 2.6 lakh fall prey to flood fury in Assam
Guwahati, August 30 (NKTV): As reported by the Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA), 2,58,191 have been affected by flood across 16 districts of Assam.
As many as 40 revenue districts have been affected in these 16 districts. 732 villages presently reel under flood water.
6,218 inmates have taken shelter in 24 relief camps across 10 districts in the state.
No loss of human life has been reported.
