New RCE of OIL Anfor Ali Haque assumes charge
Anfor Ali Haque assumed the charge of Resident Chief Executive (RCE), of Oil India Limited, Field Headquarters, Duliajan on January 1, 2024. Haque joined OIL as an Executive Trainee (ET) in February 1989 in the Production Department at Duliajan.
Born to Late Smt Hasna Jahan Haque and Late Abdul Haque, Anfor Ali Haque hails from Dibrugarh, Assam. He did his schooling from Nowgong Higher Secondary School and passed his intermediate from Cotton College, Guwahati and graduated in Mechanical Engineering from Assam Engineering College, Guwahati.
He served the Production Department of Oil India Limited for more than two decades and later headed the department in 2015. Subsequently, Shri Haque moved to the Central Asset Department for a period of two years till November 2019. Later on, he was promoted to the position of Chief General Manager in the Petroleum Engineering & Statistics Department. He took over the charge of Executive Director (KGB & MBP) in 2022 and later transferred to Duliajan as Executive Director (Production) in 2023.
His expertise spans various critical areas, including Well Completion, Artificial Lift Systems, and Surface Production Facilities. In recognition of his exemplary leadership and achievements in matured oilfield management, Shri Haque was honoured as the Manager of the Year by OIL in 2017-18. Throughout his illustrious career, Shri Haque has actively participated in various national and international seminars and conferences, contributing to the exchange of knowledge and best practices within the industry. For more than two decades, he has been actively associated with Dibrugarh University, serving as a bridge between industry and academia. He has penned numerous insightful articles on energy-related subjects in leading dailies of Assam.
