Guwahati, August 17 (NKTV): The Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA) today issued a revised SOP for the state that shall come to effect from 5:00 AM of August 18, 2021 and will be followed until further orders.
As per the new SOP, night curfew has been imposed across the state from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM.
All business/commercial establishments, restaurants, hotels, shops, etc. shall be open till 6:00 PM across the state.
Inter district movement of public vehicles and movement of people shall be allowed except to and from Kamrup (Metro) district. Inter district public transport shall remain suspended.
Physical classes in respect of Final year of Graduate/Post Graduate Engineering/Medical Colleges, GNM, Nursing courses and that of Aeronautical Engineering may be allowed to be started with fully vaccinated students.
Meeting/gathering has been allowed for up to 200 persons in open spaces (for public function) and up to 50% of the hall capacity or 200 fully vaccinated persons, whichever is lover in closed venues.
Cinema halls shall remain closed.
Wearing of mask is mandatory in public places.
