Next CM of Assam to be announced tomorrow

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has almost decided on their central observers who will be in Assam tomorrow, 9th May, for the legislature party meeting which will decide who will be the next chief minister of Assam.

According to reports, BJP general secretary Arun Singh and BJP national organization secretary BL Santosh have been decided as central observers. BJP’s Assam in-charge, Baijayant Jai Panda, will also be present in tomorrow’s meeting in Guwahati.

All leaders including Sarbananda Sonowal and Himanta Biswa Sarma will be back in Guwahati at 11:15pm today via a chartered flight. Earlier in the morning, both Sarbananda Sonowal and Himanta Biswa Sarma had been called to New Delhi to BJP President JP Nadda’s residence for a high-profile meeting with Amit Shah and other prominent national leaders.
