NF Railway becomes the Champion of the 1st Kanaklata Baruah Inter-District Women’s Cricket Championship 2022 by defeating the Lakhimpur team on Monday.
A Closing Ceremony was also held at the Amingaon Cricket Ground in the presence of ACA authorities and cricket enthusiasts. Speaking on the occasion, Romen Dutta, President, Assam Cricket Association said that the tournament was first-of-its-kind, and was instrumental in promoting women cricket in Assam. He also expressed hope that the tournament would be a source of inspiration for countless women cricket enthusiasts living across the State, and would encourage them to come forward and make the most of their skills.
