Guwahati, June 25 (NKTV): The Kaziranga National Park will be the new fix of the evicted egrets in Tangla. The issue came to the notice of the Chief Minister after the serial news reports, aired on NK TV. This was followed by a delegation from Wildlife Trust of India (WTI) reached the spot.
The evicted egrets will be set up in Kaziranga following the order of Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma. It may be mentioned that many chicks killed as Municipal authorities destroy nests following complaint that bird poop could be carriers of novel coronavirus. The executive officer of the municipal board in Tangla town, on June 8, served a notice each to five persons of Ward Number 1.
