Noted educationist Sampurnananda Talukdar passes away
Guwahati, June 05 (NKTV): Eminent educationist, social worker Sampurnananda Talukdar is no more. Talukdar was undergoing treatment at Dispur hospital. The educationist was suffering from old age related ailment. Talukdar passed away at 10.10am on Sunday. Talukdar was the former principal of Bajali College. Talukdar was one of the founders of Pathsala College. The Nilratna Academy of Pathshala was founded by him. Talukdar was associated with many organisations of Bajali. He was the father of Nipan Kumar Talukdar, CMD, NK TV.
Following the announcement of his demise, tributes began to pour in for the educationist from all quarters.
He strived for the development of Pathsala throughout his life and built a stronghold for intellectual society. The educational activities he implemented for the downtrodden people are replicated in various places today. His dedication towards the well being of people of Bajali is always memorable.
