The Omicron variant cases tally has risen to 21 in India with new positive cases being detected every now and then. 17 new Omicron cases were reported on Sunday itself. According to reports, most of the tested positive cases were reported from patients who came back from African nations or were in contact with such peoples.
However, the Health Department of India has taken stringent steps to control the spread of by virus by quarantining the positive patients.
