One ADC in each district to take responsibility of vaccine centers: Himanta Biswa Sarma

The chief minister of Assam, Himanta Biswa Sarma today on 16th May held a vitrual meeting with all DCs and VCs. Himanta Biswa Sarma has directed DCs to regularly visit District Hospitals from today and ensure efficient odd hour management of critical Covid patients even late in the night.

Himanta Biswa Sarma took to twitter and wrote “Today I reviewed the #Covid19 status, preparedness & enforcement with DCs and SPs through VC. I directed DCs to regularly visit District Hospitals from today and ensure efficient odd hour management of critical Covid patients even late in the night.”

He has also asked to entrust one ADC in each district with responsibility of vaccine centers. Directed SPs to enforce stringent restrictions to contain the pandemic while ensuring containment zone regulations.
